Things to do Where the Blue Waters Meet Ancient Streets: Discover Ohrid Free Tour
Our tour will start at the meeting point at the Ohrid Square near the statue of St. Clement of Ohrid. After that our road will lead us through the narrow cobblestone streets through the old town where we will first stop by the House of Robevci, probably the most famous house in the old town and right after that we will stop for a short presentation in the museum of handmade paper. Next our path will take us to the church of Saint Sophia, one of the most important churches from the byzantine period.
Moving on we will start going uphill and stop by the Ancient theatre and learn a bit more about its history and its over 2 millennium history, before we visit the church of St. Mary the Virgin of Peribleptos for some nice views on the Samuel fortress and the Ohrid lake. From that point we will continue our road towards the church of St. Clement of Painteleimon ( Plaoshnik). It a true masterpiece that will leave you stunned and speechless.
Lastly, as a cherry on the top we will climb towards the church of St John the Theologian (Kaneo) for probably the best views in Macedonia. A view that you won't be able to forget, after which we will walk along the lake and end our tour.
