Things to do Negombo Heritage Walk

As Negombo Multi cultural city we start from the Sri Mutthu Mari Amman Temple on sea street. And we walk through the Local market where the vendors sell Vegetables and fruits in stalls. King George’s drive, named after the King George’s visit to the city. The road goes parallelly with the Indian sea where the angler’s activity area & dry fish processing center are. When we get enough dry fish smell, we walk through the fish market (Lellama). And next to the prison (Before the Dutch fort). We will pass the famous Kothlawala bridge, here you can take a nice picture of the fishing boats. Then we walk back again to the opposite side and the next stop will be St. Mary’s Cathedral in Negombo. Then travelers can get quick Sri Lankan spicy snacks or sweets with refreshments. Our Negombo-born guide will show and explain every stop. It will be a great experience for travelers to get an in-depth picture of the country’s history and culture.
