Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Pignasecca market, the oldest in the historic center of Naples. Taste the authentic flavors of tradition -rich in culinary culture-by stopping at six iconic local shops. From the refreshing Spritz to the delicious Cuoppo -a cone filled with fried food-, continuing with Pizza and typical Neapolitan desserts, each stop will turn out to be a surprise, along with other delicious dishes to be discovered. While you taste these delicacies, our guide will tell you about the magnificent stories and legends that lie behind each dish. Lose yourself in the alleys of the city, where street food is not just about taste but is intertwined with the soul of the city, combining centuries of tradition with unforgettable flavors. During the tour, we offer tastings for a value of about 7–8 euros per person. We remind you that payment of the free fee is recommended by debit/credit card, at the end of the tour.

Antonio guided my family and our group down local Naple roads not far from the port. This allowed us to enjoy a few local eateries with tastings at each stop! This is a great way to get an intro to local cuisine and people.
I will add for families using a stroller- bring larger wheels like a jogging stroller or skip a stroller if possible for this tour! The streets are tough to use it on.

“Virginia our guide, was great has such a nice energy.”
Our guide, Virginia, was wonderful — very friendly, positive, and she really made the experience enjoyable. We liked her a lot and she created a great atmosphere throughout the tour.
The tour itself was very interesting and we got to try things we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own, which made it even more special.
One small suggestion: the walking distance between stops is quite short, so there isn’t much time to digest between tastings and it can feel quite filling towards the end.
It might be nice to include a bit more walking, perhaps through the Spanish Quarters, and add a few more local stories along the way — it would make the experience even more enjoyable and balanced.

“Unofficially cancelled ”
I booked two free walking tours on Friday, 20. February in Neaples. Both tours got cancelled unofficially by the Guide. Furthermore they message me and demand via my private (!) WhatsApp number that I should cancel my booked tour, which I didn’t canceled, but them, maybe to avoid exactly this comment.

Great tour of local street food and old market area whee the locals shop. The area is busy, noisy and just a little manic, everything that makes Naples centre hum. Simone has a lot of knowledge about the food and the local culture. Simone is a great guide, imparting knowledge but not overdoing it. The food itself was great, heavy on the bread, which is typical of the region. Simone made sure he accomodated deitary requirements which was thoughtful. Definetly would recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed the street food tour. It was based around an outdoor market near the historic centre that we would never have been too if it wasnt for our guide Miri. She was super nice and informative and gave us lots of different foods to try. I really liked the buffalo mozzarella and the fried aubergine. I highly recommend this tour.

Miriam was our guide at the tour and showed us some nice food spots where we also went back later after the tour finished.
Not sure if it was because we were only two participants but the tour only lasted a bit more than an hour and not two. No problem for us but could be good to know for other guests.

Make sure to take pictures of what you eat and like, so when you get back to those places, you'll know what to order.

We really appreciated that they kept the tour scheduled since were were they only participants. It was great way to try some of the common dishes unique to Naples. Great value for what we learned and experienced. We so enjoyed our guide! I would highly recommend this tour. This is a small introduction to the cuisine.
