Ours will be a journey through time through the main sites of the historic center of Naples, a Greek, Roman, French, Austrian, Spanish and finally Italian city. A path that will make us understand the great soul of a millinery city!

The Original Naples Walking Tour with a *LICENSED* local tour guide! Two hours through the history, legends, folklore, monuments, and cuisine of one of the most fascinating Italian cities. We will visit the old town of Naples from Dante Square, the Greek walls, the famous street Spaccanapoli, Gesù Nuovo Square, Santa Chiara church, and more! End Point: close to San Domenico Square An unforgettable journey through the past, present, and future of Naples! Our goal is to make our visitors understand the great soul of Naples and Neapolitans. You will recognize us by a WHITE UMBRELLA. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: To avoid problems with the city's noise, it is compulsory to pay €2 for the rent of a radio connected to the guide's microphone before the tour starts. The tour starts with a minimum of seven people. IMPORTANT: If you want to book for > 6 people, please create one and only one booking. Consider that the visit + radios are included in the price of the booking with a fixed price. Multiple bookings will be considered null. Thanks for understanding. The described route may be changed according to external factors.

My teen daughters and I took this tour on our first day in Naples and it was the perfect start to our trip. The guide was very relaxed and clear with the information he gave and it was a good pace for us all. I really liked the mix of facts with interesting stories. It set us up well to explore the city ourselves during the rest of our trip. The use of the radio headsets was ideal as we could hear the guide all the time even when walking along behind him between stops. Would 100% recommend this tour, it was great from start to finish.

“An absolute highlight of my time in Naples”
To be honest, I’m usually quite skeptical about free walking tours. After doing many of them across Europe and Asia over the years, I’ve found that they can sometimes be rather generic, covering information that’s easy to find in a guidebook. This one was completely different.
The reason is Giuseppe.
Without exaggeration, he is one of the best guides I’ve ever had. He manages to strike a rare balance between being incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely entertaining. His deep understanding of Naples’ history was evident throughout the tour, but he never turned it into a dry history lecture. Instead, he combined fascinating insights with humor, local stories, food recommendations, and observations about everyday Neapolitan life.
What impressed me most was how well prepared he was. He brought printed historical images that helped bring his explanations to life, answered every question with enthusiasm, and shared countless references that made me want to learn even more about the city.
The organization was also outstanding. Thanks to the headphone system, we spent almost two and a half hours walking through Naples’ busy, narrow streets without ever struggling to hear him or forcing him to shout.
Most importantly, Giuseppe has that rare ability to make a city feel alive. He is knowledgeable, funny, passionate, and full of character—a fantastic ambassador for Naples.
I highly recommend this tour, but above all, I highly recommend Giuseppe. If you’re lucky enough to get him as your guide, you’re in for a treat.
