Travel in an open-top 4WD vehicle to the Southwest, starting at Campanário, taking the old roads, overlooking the terraces and cliffs. Continue to Ponta do Sol and then up to Paúl da Serra at 1500 meters to see rocks formed by volcanoes and flattened by erosion, marked by centuries of narrow footpaths, used for 4 centuries by the locals carrying and leading their animals and their products from one side of the Island to the other. At Prazeres and Fajã da Ovelha to see incredibly deep and majestic beauty.
