This free tour will transport you back to Victorian London. We will explore the most dangerous alleyways that, in the 19th century, were the crime scenes of gruesome murders committed by this still unidentified serial killer.
Things to do Discover the Mysteries of Jack the Ripper
The walking tour begins in the Tower Hill area and continues in Whitechapel, which was sadly known as the ‘Doors to Hell’ during that era. The darkness of a late evening enhances the experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the gloomy atmosphere. Combined with the excellent acting skills of our guides, you will feel totally engaged and absorbed. Who was he? Some believe he was a doctor, others a butcher. What do you think? Be a detective for a day and use our clues to build your own theory! Here is a preview of our itinerary: -We will start outside Tower Gateway DLR Station. -We will explore the alleyways of Whitechapel. -We will stop behind the Chamberlain Pub to revisit the night of August 31st, 1888. -We will stop outside St. Botolph Church, a religious site, for about 1000 years. -We will discuss Catherine Eddows‘ murder at Mitre Square -We will stop by Goulston Street, where The Ripper took a piece of Catherine Eddows’ blood-stained apron. -We will see Jack The Clipper barber shop on Toynbee Street. -We will walk on Puma Court, the location of Annie Chapman‘s encounter with an unknown gentleman. -We will end the tour at Spitalfields Market.

Shivam war ein guter Guide. Er lieferte viele Hintergrundinformationen zur Zeit und dem Leben der Menschen in London 1888.
Er spricht ein sehr gut verständliches Englisch, was es auch für nicht Muttersprachler einfach macht den Erklärungen zu folgen.

“Very Disappointed”
The tour guide was enthusiastic, We were told at the start that the tour would not go into any of the grusomeness of the crimes out of respect for the victims. This was a shame concidering most of that is exactly what you DO expect from a tour based around one of the most notorious historic serial killers of the uk. It is the whole reason behind wanting to do a 'jack the ripper' tour. The guide also repeated a lot of what he had already said.
I will certainly be doing another one of these tours about the same topic, but not with this company im afraid.
Very disapppinted indeed.

We loved the Jack the Ripper tour last friday. Shizaam really did a great job.
He tells a lot - apparently he knows a lot - and pointed out who Jack really was:
A criminal and a coward who picked as victims vulnerable women at their most
vulnerable times. So, on Jack is nothing remotely cool, heroic or romantic.

“One of the best walking tours”
Our guide Shivam was awesome. He took us back in time with his mesmerizing narrative skills and clearly well researched knowledge.
The tour lasted two hours, started on time and was well organized. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone into London's more notorious history. You will enjoy the evening while Visham paints the visuals with his energetic passion for the subject.

Matt was very knowledgeable on Jack the Ripper and his victims! It was kind of creepy walking in the same area as Jack the Ripper did so many years ago and to talk about and learn more about his victims. Too bad it was cold and rainy for our tour ☔️☔️????️
