Things to do The Secret Genoa Chase: Self-Guided Exploration Game

This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played through the shadowed canals of Genoa. You will explore 13 different locations while following the story of a baker's apprentice searching for a mysterious ship tied to a crimson-clad woman. At each location, you'll solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on monuments, graffiti, and facades. The route winds through Centro Storico, blending real history with rumors only longtime residents know. Perfect for mystery lovers, history enthusiasts and urban explorers. Starting from Christopher Columbus' House, the stops are spaced an average of around 200m apart, with each location taking around 6 min to complete. The route also passes through Porta Soprana, Palazzo San Giorgio and Cattedrale di San Lorenzo. At each location, you'll solve a challenge and receive instructions for the next chapter. DISCLAIMER: You will explore by yourself using the Questo app on your phone. No physical guide or stranger groups will be involved. The full route covers approximately 2.7 km (1.7 mi) and takes around 1:15h to complete. You can play it any day, at any time. Languages available: EN, IT, FR.
