“The perfect way to start your stay in Edinburgh. ”
This tour was the perfect mix of history, fun little anecdotes and useful tipps for our trip.
Sarah was so very kind and carried us away with her enthusiasm for the city. Could have walked with her and Al Pacino all day long.
This tour was just great as a starter for our stay in Edinburgh, it helped us find our way around and actually know the significance of all the wonderful places we came across.
I would 100% recommend this tour for anyone who is visiting Edinburgh!

Highly recommend taking this tour, very informative and friendly. Sarah was our tour guide- she narrated so many stories about the history and traditions of the city. She walked us through old town, monuments and recommended a lot of places to eat and drink. I fell in love with the city even more after attending this tour. I wish I could’ve discovered this tour earlier. Book this your if you’re into history and want some great recommendations. It’s 2 hours long but you’ll enjoy every minute of it ????

Sarah was very friendly and the content was very interesting, she is very good at story telling with a sweet Scottish accent. She recommended different restaurants and pubs plus other nice places to visit. Very informative and we are very happy we did it. Organisation and time management were also as expected. The dog was a sweetheart.

“Great storytelling and fun!”
It was our first free tour and I confidently say that Callum and Rowie sat the bar very high! We appreciated everything, from the great storytelling, the details, the hidden spots, the fun facts, songs and all the inside tips. 3 hours packed with info, but it was never dull or boring, the time flew! Callum was really generous sharing with each one of us specific content, insider tips, food and whisky recommendations. Rowie was the star of the day of course, and also providing some funny moments. We highly recommended the tour and would have love to take more with them.

Fabulous walking tour through Edinburgh! Sarah and Pacino are brilliant tour guides. Sarah shared her wealth of local knowledge and history and provided many tips I found useful when exploring Edinburgh on my own, after the tour. Pacino is beautifully behaved and well trained, and provides lots of warm doggy interactions throughout the tour. This tour was one of my highlights and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

I absolutely loved every single story and historic content that Sarah shared - completely changed my perspective of the whole city. It was my first day and I couldn’t recommend it more because apart from all the insights she shares, she gives the best recommendations. “Calum and Rowie are absolutely fabulous! ”
This tour was absolutely fabulous! Calum is very knowledgeable and he shows how much he cares for Scotland and specially Edinburgh. As he guided the group throughout the city his witty kept us entertained while learning the history of this amazing country.
Anecdotes about main history characters were intermingled with the facts and I particularly appreciated his point of view on some more obscure aspects of the history, such as the Witch Trials that took place in Scotland. Also I loved to learn what happened with Maggie Dickson and some other famous people.
Calum was also very helpful with "tips" about what and where to eat and shop and places to visit. He recommended a vintage store where I found a lovely Cashmere scarf that I am wearing right now as I write this review! And after the tour he sent to all an email with his tips and links on Google Maps to help us find everything :)
The cherry on top was the presence of Rowie, his adorable dog that actually resembles Greyfriars Bobby, the famous dog that spent 14 years next to his owner grave and became one of the symbols of dog's devotion and loyalty.
If you are visiting Edinburgh be sure to chose Calum and Rowie for a great time !
P.S. I am not a big Harry Potter fan, so I didn't mention much about, but Calum also showed several famous spots related to the books and I am sure that he would have spent more time on that if the group asked for...

Wonderful tour with Calum and Rowdie! This was my first full day in Edinburgh and this tour was so interesting to learn about some of Edinburgh’s history and facts. “Great tour”
We had a really nice and fun tour with Callum who is a really good host and described with a lot of passion and heart the different streets and historic parts of the city. The 2h tour went so fast it was almost sad it was over. Really fun tour, highly recommended!

Loved it! Cute dog, great content. If you want a nice way to learn about Edinburgh while walking with a celebrity dog, and lots of personalized recommendations from a local. This should be the tour you should choose!

Calum was an excellent guide. Told fun stories in a easy understandable accent. You can tell he has lost his heart to the city and literature. Very entertaining. Learned a lot, had a good time.

This tour was absolutely perfect! Callum and his partner (the world's famous dog<3) are just the ideal guides. The stories and facts, the sites, the history of it all and the storytelling itself were just amazing. “The best city tour in Scotland!”
Our guide Calum was amazing, such entertainment and knowledge in one person, great storyteller. And friendly Rowie the dog is an excellent addition to the tour. Atmosphere was so welcoming, highly recommended tour!

“A Different Way To Experience Edinburgh With A Pup.”
A must do for dog lovers, and even if you don’t love dogs, the tour is still fantastic! Callum was an excellent tour guide and a great story teller. We really enjoyed spending our afternoon with Callum and Rowie.

We enjoyed our tour very much as Calum was very informative but did not drown us with information. He told us some interesting stories which we will remember fondly. Rosie was a cute addition.

“Recommend! A must go tour”
The best tour you can get! This was my first free tour and since then my bar is very high regarding the tours. It was very fun and informative. Also the walking distance didnt felt long at all. Sarah is an amazing speaker and guide. We learned a lot of things that we wouldn't find on the internet or in books. Cherry on top was the dog Pacino, who is super friendly, chill and loves to cuddle!

“Top Rated Tour”
This was such a wonderful tour for my two day trip to Scotland! Calum was an informative and entertaining tour guide, combining the long Scottish history with storytelling and humor. With a pay what you want tour - the genuine love for his job and this city was evident in Calum’s dialogue.
It was a must-do tour for my Edinburgh trip, so lovely to meet both Calum and Rowie, I cannot reccomend this enough!
