We will depart from Edinburgh's Royal Mile for the Highlands, making a first stop at the beautiful Bankfoot to rest and meet the famous Hairy Coos cows. The journey continues to the battlefield of Culloden, a place steeped in history where the last great battle was fought on British soil. After learning about the end of the clan system, we will head to the imposing Urquhart Castle, located in a privileged enclave overlooking Loch Ness. There you can explore its ruins and enjoy a cruise to navigate its famous waters.
Those who do not take this joint activity (£34 adults / £24 children) will have free time in the surroundings of Clansman Harbour. The route continues to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, where you will have time to visit the cathedral and stroll along the banks of the River Ness. On the way back through the Cairngorms National Park and Loch Laggan to the picturesque village of Pitlochry with its Victorian houses, ideal to recharge your batteries before ending the tour in Edinburgh's New Town on Hanover Street.
