This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played outdoors, on the haunted streets of Chicago. You will explore across 10 spooky locations while following a supernatural mystery filled with eerie encounters. At each location, you'll be solving a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on various elements such as monuments, graffiti, and facades. The game is mainly focused around the Lincoln Park area and includes many spooky encounters with restless ghosts and grave-robbing ghouls. Starting from the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool, the stops are spaced an average of around 250m apart, with each location taking around 8 min to complete. The route also passes through Lincoln Park Zoo, Chicago History Museum, and Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. At every stop, the app unlocks a new chapter and guides people to the next location.
