Devil's Saddle Tour

You follow the uphill road from San Bartolomeo that leads to Calamosca and ends here. You leave Hotel Calamosca on the right, walking for about a hundred meters along the only paved road that runs alongside the hotel, then climb a small path on the left, uphill, easily visible and marked with patches of paint on the rocks. The low vegetation makes it possible to follow one of the many paths marked by hikers without fear of getting lost. On the last stretch, after a half-hour ascent, you skirt a net of the military zone, and the climb ends on an overhang directly above the boathouse of the Marina Piccola marina, from where you can catch a view that sweeps from Viale Poetto to Capo Carbonara and the open sea.
