Our son who is 15 years old and was the youngest of the group, enjoyed the experience very much! He asked me to arrange a walking tour again in our next trip somewhere in Europe.

The tour took place on a Saturday starting at 17:00, which means that it started during day light and finished in a dark evening. That gives two perspectives of a city within one tour. Deniz is a very knowledgeable tour guide, very friendly and always happy to answere questions. The tour was well organized and gives a good overview of the city. I can definitely recommend that tour!

Bologna has a rich history and interesting cultural elements. Deniz introduced us to some of these – university, architecture, food etc. – by 'going deep' on examples, rather than trying to cover everything. So we began to get a sense of the city and its people that we can further develop in our coming days here.

Bologna has less famous sights than other Italian cities like Rome and Venice. But they are in no way less interesting. Deniz has a very indepth knowledge in Bologna history (think she has a Masters degree in a related field). She is able to bring the attractions to life. I have been to more than 10 walking tours in Europe and I will rank hers to be one of the best.

Deniz didn't try to cover too much ground but opted to take us to some great sites instead. I really appreciated her getting us a balsamic tasting at one of the delicatessens. “Great Tourguide ”
I was with a friend for a few days in Bologna while doing interrail. We don’t have that much money to spend so the Tour was an eye catcher. The Tourguide Deniz was really nice and came up with a lot of interesting facts about the city. Even if we went to all the places we visited with the tour before, it was a completely new experience and we understood a lot of the history.
