Things to do Bergamo Upper Town Free Tour

From the meeting point on Via Solata, we will talk about the history of the Funicular and the Roman origin of the city and the guild square that is right next to it. We will go up Via Gambito (shopping and restaurant area) where your mouth will be watering with so much delicious food, we will stop at the ancient Lavadero, where not so many years ago it was still in use for the Bergamo's people. A few steps away is one of the most important squares, the imposing Vecchia, surrounded by beautiful buildings such as the Angelo Mai Library, the Palace of Reason and the tower known for il "Campanone" that every night plays 100 times in echoes of the past. And how could it be otherwise, in Piazza Duomo you will marvel at the Baptistery, the Colleoni Chapel, the Basilica of St. Alexander and the Duomo (if you want to delve into these monuments, book on the tour we have before this one).
