Things to do Bergamo: A Stroll Through the Middle Ages

We’ll start at the funicular in Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe and head to the Rocca, walking along the same streets built by ancient artisans and commissioned by the rulers of the Venetian Republic. I will explain the signs and symbols, and we will head toward Piazza del Duomo di Sant’Alessandro. Here, I will provide a detailed explanation of the exterior—its architectural structure, animal and floral symbolism—and how these relate to numerology and sacred geometry (well-known to the artists themselves). An immersion in the beauty of this fascinating city, in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. We will visit Santa Maria Maggiore and the Colleoni Chapel. We will conclude with an aperitif and local products.
