“Best free walking tour ever”

I’ve been on countless free tours—both in China and around the world—and this was, without a doubt, the best one yet! Beijing is a massive city, but this tour struck the perfect balance between walking and talking, helping us explore it in a fun and interactive way. “Amazing tour during Chinese New Year”

The tour was simply AMAZING!! The guide was super friendly, welcoming, well prepared with all the talks and open to answer all our questions. I learned so much while had a fantastic time with new friends made on the tour. We had a calligraphy workshop in a warm cozy art studio, got to bring a lovely Chinese artwork back home:) Also It was sooo cool to walk through the hutongs at this time with new year decorations, meanwhile hear about the locals day to day life story. Absolutely my China trip’s highlight!

“Must do tour!”

They may be the best walking tour I’ve done. I usually don’t do walking tours that are 3 hours because they feel too long but this one was so engaging. There were breaks and different activities planned for this tour. It was also very informative. Highly recommend doing this tour with sherry!

The tour with Carrie was absolutely excellent! She guided us professionally and gracefully, with explanations that were clear and tasteful. The stops were well-chosen, shaded, and in truly interesting local spots – and we even got to grab some snacks at very authentic places along the way. The recommendations at the end were also very helpful. So far, this has been the best Freetour I’ve taken – and that’s saying a lot after several other great ones. Highly recommended!
