7-Hour Day Cruise in Alleppey

Experience the idyllic and peaceful backwaters of Alleppey on this full-day tour. Our day begins with a 1.5-hour road journey from Kochi to the waters of Alleppey, often referred to as a Venice of the East, home to a maze of waterways both big and small on the western side of the mainland Alleppey district of Kerala. At noon, board your exclusive houseboat for a day cruise and experience life in the backwater villages of this unique community. The cruise takes you through endless narrow and wide canals whose banks are dotted with houses and paddy fields, where cultivation is done below the water level. Watch as the locals go fishing and carry out a host of daily activities of the village, and get an up-close look at the local waterside marketplaces, temples, and much more. During the cruise, lunch is served on board, usually consisting of some fresh and delicious Keralan cuisine. The cruise finishes after tea and snacks between 16:00 and 17:00, at which time we will head back to your accommodation in Kochi.
