The Pagan Garni Temple can be attributed to the pearl of the tourist industry of Armenia. The ancient temple was built in the 1st century AD, by king Trdat the first.

The Geghard monastery or Javelin Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in the world, which is inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the 8th century, Jude the Apostle brought the Spear of Destiny (the Spear of the legionary Longinus, who pierced Jesus Christ) to the monastery, which is said by many leading scientists to be one of the three originals.

The resort town of Tsaghkadzor is the center of winter tourism in Armenia, where various winter sports events and championships are held.

The legendary Lake Sevan is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the most visited attractions in Armenia. On the peninsula, on a high hill, is the famous Sevanawank Monastery, built in 874 by princess Mariam. Also on top of the hill, there is a small botanical garden and an observation deck, which creates a landscape as if you are standing in the center of Sevan.
