Things to do Discover Tubingen's Historic Charm and Riverside
Welcome to Tübingen! Join me on a journey through this charming university town known for its picturesque streets and rich history. We’ll begin in the old town, where cobblestone lanes and half-timbered houses set the scene. As we explore, I’ll share stories of Tübingen’s past and its notable residents, like poet Hölderlin, who lived in the famous Hölderlin Tower by the Neckar River.
We’ll visit key spots like the colorful Neckarfront, with its scenic reflections, and the bustling Market Square, home to the impressive city hall and St. George’s Church. We’ll also enjoy the peaceful views from the Neckar Island Bridge, a beloved spot for locals.
As a student and local enthusiast, I’ll offer insights into Tübingen’s academic culture, student traditions, and hidden gems often missed by tourists. This tour captures the essence of Tübingen, perfect for those who want a mix of history, culture, and local charm in one of Germany's most beautiful towns!

“Umer tour Tübingen 1 o clock pm”
We had a very bad experience with you!
We waited at the meeting point 30 min.looking for you and your little flag, but nobody was there.
I wrote an email to the free walking organisation and got a phonenumber to somebody who didn't knew anything about this tour. I don't know if it was the right number...So we are very disappointed.
We still are wondering where you were.

“Tubingen Old City”
This was Umer’s first tour. I wish him luck in learning about the history of this very interesting town and being able to lead people confidently for 2 hours to visit it’s most interesting highlights
