Bachkovo and Red Wall Day Tour

You will be picked up in the morning from your hotel or address in Sofia and within two hours journey by private car or minivan, you will arrive at the starting point of the hike in the Rhodope Mountains. Walk on a picturesque trail upstream Slivov Dol river and its numerous cascades, where many orchids can be spotted. Reach Slivodolsko Padalo waterfall (49 m), among the tallest in the Rhodope Mountains. After a short break walk back to the car and after a short transfer arrives in Bachkovo Monastery for a sightseeing tour and lunch. Later the journey continues with a short transfer and city tour of Plovdiv, one of the oldest cities in Europe. In the late afternoon head towards Sofia, where your driver will leave you at your place.
