Old Riga Free Tour

Our tour starts at St Peters Church where we all meet and introduce the tour. For the next 1 hr 45 mins your guide will be leading you through the most important sights of the old city including the House of Blackheads, Town hall square, Dome square and Cathedral, Swedish gate, winding side streets not seen by tourists and much more besides. Our aim on this tour is to give you a real impression from the foundation of Riga right up to the present day. We will learn about the many different powers who came, left and made an impression on the city of Riga. Furthermore we dal with contemporary subjects and aim to give you a first class understanding of why Riga is the way she is today by looking through the lens of the past. All our guides come from educated backgrounds within history, arts and culture, geography and their desire to keep learning means that we are discovering new things to add to our tours all the time.
