“10 out of 10!”

Alexander did not only show us Plovdiv's beautiful walls, but he made us think about their meaning and the artists' lives. He provided a good atmosphere where all of us could feel comfortable and, therefore, we asked all the questions we had. I particularly liked his final reflection, according to which we should recognise each other's talents and value, given that we are social animals. I am so thankful for his energy, sensibility and listening skills. I totally recommend this tour!

“Lovely guide; Content can be more detailed”

It was lovely to see how Plovdiv's old streets are being rejuvenated by street arts. Guide was very organized and friendly. Content-wise, it would be great to learn about the relationships between these arts, policy of governments or the art festivals, are related to the history, politics and perhaps crime (graffiti and gangs) of the city. When explaining the many art pieces - perhaps would be helpful to connect them with a hint of details, about the churches/ religion disputes; details of the Cyrillic language then and now, and Bulgaria's relationship with their neighbors in Europe, since some of the paintings did reflect or have implications to some of the above points. The tour was nice, the suggestions above may make it even more enriching - an equal amount of walking, and talking, sort of. Thank you!
