Join this tour's historical-artistic that takes place in the old city center of Pisa. We will walk along the old typical streets of the city center, with several stops, to talk about the traditions, costumes, and monuments of this magical city
Things to do Pisa Free Tour
Pisa is not just the Leaning Tower, it is much more! The walking tour begins in Vittorio Emanuele II square and ends in Piazza dei Miracoli, where the Leaning Tower is located. We will start our tour with some modern art, with the famous murals by the pop artist Keith Haring. Then we will visit Loggia dei Banchi, and we’ll talk about the games and traditions of Pisa. Later, we will cross the river on the famous bridge Ponte di Mezzo, and we will explore the old streets of Borgo Stretto, with its typical shops and cafes, and we'll discover the heart of Pisa: Piazza delle Vettovaglie. Later, we will visit Piazza dei Cavalieri, focusing on the Medici family. Then, we'll continue to Piazza dei Miracoli, where we will talk about the architectural masterpieces of the medieval period: the cathedral, the baptistery, and the Leaning Tower. During our walk, we will also try (for free) the typical food of Pisa, and I will give you some tips about my favorite places :) The tour lasts 2 hours and starts with a minimum of 10 bookings. The booking is free, and at the end of the tour, the guide expects to be rewarded with a tip; the minimum recomended amount is usually 10 euros per person.

We had the tour with Alberto, it was very interesting to learn fun facts about Pisa, way beyond just the leaning tower. Like why the city changed their saint after a war with Genova. “Nos dejo tiraos sin avisar”
Estuvimos esperando 25 minutos y allí no apareció nadie ni nos avisaron de que se anulava posiblemente porque estaba lloviendo un poco. El día siguiente estuvimos en Florencia lloviendo bien y todos los freetour como campeones allí. Por eso mi esperiencia es malisima porque estuvimos viendo Pisa durante todo el día a nuestro aire y no llovió.

The tour had almost no information about Pisa. The guide talked much more about Florence and Italy in general.

“Outstanding Pisa tour with Alberto”
We had the most amazing tour with Alberto. He is a very knowledgeable guide who told us all about the history of Pisa, its best spots, food, important characters, and even got us to try the traditional chockpea pie of the city. After yhe tour, he gave us good recommendations for both Pisa and even nearby cities. Truly wonderful experience. 100% recommended
