Dachau Concentration Camp Tour

We will depart at 9:30 a.m. from Marienplatz by subway transport (transport ticket is included in the tour price) and arrive at the Dachau Concentration Camp in about 35 minutes. Dachau was the first Nazi concentration camp built on the outskirts of Munich. It was opened on March 22, 1933, just weeks after Adolf Hitler was appointed Reich Chancellor. More than 200,000 prisoners were interned and tortured by the Nazis, of whom more than 40,000 were killed. The Dachau Concentration Camp was the penultimate camp to be liberated by American troops on April 29, 1945 with 32,000 survivors, making it the camp that remained open the longest.
