Good organisation, the initial meeting point had some unexpected construction going on, we were texted 45mins ahead about the new meeting point. “A really good way to know the city”
Our tour lasted around 2h10m and it was perfect ! Even though the weather was cold (-20°C...) our guide Christina was absolutely perfect and made us go inside monuments when she could so we would not get cold ! Anastasia, the guide was wonderful. she gave a good insight to Helsinki and showed us places that prompted me to go back too, to explore more. she mentioned the 15min ferry to Sea Fortress Island, which I did today and loved it. Valeria was great. She was dynamic in her explanations and very knowledgeable. Her main concern was our well being and she made it a point to try to find places where we could go inside and warm up a little, as Helsinki's weather that day was the coldest I've ever been (-11ªC). “Great tour for an intro to Helsinki”
Fantastic tour with Anastasia! The tour was well planned and was an excellent introduction to Helsinki. We were visiting for the day (from Tallinn) so it covered the main sights and gave a really good introduction to the city and the history and also recommended things to do if you were staying for a longer period of time. The weather was very VERY cold and Anastasia ensured that there were breaks and that we got to go inside quite a lot so it wasn't so you could warm up - this was really appreciated! Our cheerful and competent guide Val knew all the places we could warm up in before walking on in the freezing cold.
We enjoyed getting the basics about some famous buildings in the city centre and Finnish history. Even more valuable was the information on Finnish customs and attitude. Besides Val was open for questions at any time of the tour.

In Helsinki for just a day, we decided to have a general view of the town and joined this Red Umbrella tour. Natasha was great: she loves the town and delighted us with so much information and personal experiences, without forgetting to give some advice on special spots, shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated that from time to time we had the chance of stopping inside some places to warm and recover a little from the -6°C outside!

Fantastic tour by EERO! Even though it was windy with mist/light showers, Eero remained engaged, positive, and energetic. We spent around 2 hours walking throughout the center at a leisurely pace and were able to see all the main/important sites. Eero was full of interesting stories and information about Finland's history and culture. I learned a lot and came away with a new appreciation for a small (by population) but unique country. “Informative and very useful tour”
Really enjoyed our tour of Helsinki. Ed is a superb guide. He gets the balance right in terms of history, architecture, culture and living in the city. The tour was taken at a pace that got the job done but allowed time for questions and photo taking. Well done,Ed!
