We did the tour with Valeria and it was a great experience. She was cheerful and knowledgeable. In a time of 2h 30min she was able to cover a lot of important spots and also a quick history lesson of Helsinki and Finland. Definitely a must do for first time visitors and even those who wish to cover more in less tume.

That tour was wonderful, very informative and the guide was very friendly. I would have loved giving him more money (but I’m a student). But it was very good. We learned so much about Finnland and its history. It was pretty cold but he took breaks. He was very funny and gave us the time he needed. Would 100% recommend. :)

For a number of years, when visiting a city for the first time, we try and book a walking tour ('Free Tours' wherever possible) and always find them a great way to get one's bearings ahead of our stay. This Red Umbrella tour, with our Guide Ed, was no exception - in fact, it ranked amongst one of the best. Ed was efficient, polite, informative and entertaining. We were a mix of approx 25 people from different nations who came together but I sense everyone were equally satisfied. We thoroughly recommend this walking tour to any new visitor to Helsinki (or even return visitors) - you won't regret it!

Ca. 14 of us came out, defying the cold, snow and slippery streets to walk around Helsinki. Tourguide Ed made everyone feel welcome and wakker is both through two centuries of Finnish history, as well as the most well-know landmarks of Helsinki. Quite useful as an introduction to the city, which, despite several visits since 2011, I’d never had. Recommended!

Alex provided a lot of insightful information about the cultural and social aspects of Helsinki which I really enjoyed. Although the group was large, he was able to manage it and looked out for our safety when crossing the streets. I also appreciated the jokes he peppered his tour with to keep all of us engaged. Great little tour of Helsinki to see the key landmarks and learn some tidbits around Finnish history and culture. Bianca was a friendly and engaging tour guide and provided a few laughs on the way.
There was a good amount shown in the 2 hours and it gave us some ideas of places to see, for the rest of the holiday too.

Great tour with Calin. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very friendly; what’s not to like. Gave a €20 tip which I felt was well worth the ‘free’ 2 hour tour. Beware of pickpockets who mingle at the back of the group; we encountered two incidents - one before and then another during our tour. Neither was successful but best to stay vigilant!
