On this tour, we show you the most famous sites and walk you through over 2,000 years of history with a broad introduction to Dublin and Ireland. Starting from the giant Spire of Dublin on O'Connell street, we will cross the river and head south to visit the famous Temple Bar and the two cathedrals, finishing close to the Dublin Castle area. Every one of our guides brings their own opinions and will describe Dublin to you from their own perspective.

“An Unforgettable Tour of South Dublin with Sam!”
I had the pleasure of exploring South Dublin with Sam as our guide, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! His deep knowledge of the area’s history and culture was impressive, and his sharp, intelligent sense of humor kept us laughing the whole time. I especially loved how he tried teaching us a bit of Irish—it added such a fun and unique touch to the tour!
The two hours flew by in the blink of an eye, which just shows how engaging and enjoyable the experience was. Sam’s passion for Dublin and his skill as a storyteller made every stop memorable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city—you’ll leave with a smile and a deeper appreciation for Dublin!

We really enjoyed this tour! We decided to take this tour to orient ourselves to the city. Sam our tour guide was great. He covered the highlights like Dublin Castle, Temple Bar, Trinity, St Patrick's etc and had a great knowledge of the history. Definately recommend. Goes at a.pretty fast pace so.wear your comfy shoes!

My friend and I took the walking tour with Peter yesterday. My only downside was my own fault for being in boots not sneakers! Those cobblestones do get tough on your feet after a few miles. But, really such a lovely city with flowers spilling out of all the many shops and pubs. Peter did a fantastic job summarizing the history of Ireland that was represented in the buildings and statues we saw. Fun and informative, highly recommend!

I has a really good experience with the Yellow Umbrella tours in Belfast, so I was happy to give the Dublin tour guides a chance. They did not disappoint!
Rob was our guide. He was enthusiastic & had a great deal of knowledge regarding the area we toured.
Using the Spire as a meeting place was brilliant. Made the guides very easy to find. 2.5 hr walk around town, so there wasn't time to play around. He started on time & kept the group organized/moving.
When asked about art pieces & sidewalk insets along the way, he knew what we were asking about & was able to provide answers/relevance.
I have visited Dublin a few times since 2016. I wish I had taken the time to do this tour years ago.
I would absolutely take this tour, and/or other Yellow Umbrella tours again & highly recommend them to everyone
