Dublin, the little capital city, is huge in character, attitude, culture, and history—and we love to share it with curious travelers like you! Join your passionate local Dublin guide for an excellent journey through Dublin's and Ireland's ancient past, recent history, and contemporary tales. From turbulent times, revolutions, and rebellions to charming folktales, real-life legends, literary greats, and hidden secrets, we'll give you unrivaled insight into the city, the country, and her people on a most enjoyable free walking tour. Important Things to Note: Places on tours are strictly limited, and priority is given to those with advanced bookings. Please ensure to book your spot to avoid disappointment! The 11 a.m. tour is approximately 3 hours long and includes a short pub break midway through to use toilet facilities and grab a quick drink if desired. The afternoon tour is of a shorter duration, approximately 2 hours, and without a break. Groups of 6 or more will be required to pay an upfront fee per person at the point of booking. Splitting across multiple bookings will not be facilitated. Groups of 12 or more must contact us to book a private tour.

“3h Free walking Tour”
We used the tour as our introduction to Dublin and got a great overview. Our guide, Keith, was incredibly authentic and brought the tour to life with some insider knowledge of the spots, a story about a modern-day female hero, a few mystical tales, current event tips, a short Irish lesson, a musical interlude and his unbeatable sense of humor. La guia por poco nos cancela el tour por que solo eramos 4. Tras acceder a hacerlo se pasa todo el tour quejandose de los ruidos de la ciudad, justificandose con que llevaba desde las 10 de la mañana haciendo tours. Alguien que tiene deficit de atencion o es fácilmente irritable no deberia dedicarse a la atencion al público, o saber sus limites y no sobrepasarlos solo para ganar mas dinero.
Ante todo, era buena persona y muy amigable, incluso ofreciendose a hacernos fotos, pero no creo que este hecha para este trabajo.

“3 hour Dublin tour”
We took the tour on a Saturday morning, which proved to be very popular, so we were divided up in to 3 groups (no worries about it not running!) We went with Deirdre who proved to be knowledgeable and insightful and took us on a very interesting trip around Dublin with a short stop for a Guinness on route! There was old stories, modern history and local tales all included in this tour. It not only kept me entertained but also my 15 years old son (which is saying something!) Don't be late coming out of the pub because you'll get left behind and the end of the tour is as interesting as the rest. I'd definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting a quick, fact drenched introduction to Dublin and thanks Deirdre for making it so good!

Ian, our tour guide, was very informed of the local history and covered quite a bit of information from the early 1200/1300's to present. He mixed humor in with history and made it an enjoyable experience. If there is any criticism I would say that if the guide spoke a little slower I would have understood him better.

“High level in english expected”
A tour in english , we first booked a tour in spanish but it was cancelled, so we booked it in english. Unfortunatelly our level in english was not sufficient to understand all the explanations. Our guide Deirdre is a pasionate guide and loves her city but she speaks really speed (and doesn't intend to make it easier for us and doesn't ask if it was ok or not, not any time). So the tour was not that great.

“A Must Do!!”
Great introduction to the city of Dublin. Kate, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and upbeat and as a local she delivered the content with a great deal of humour and enthusiasm. Highly recommended

“Great tour with friendly guide”
We just finished the tour with Karl and it was a great tour. So much info and relevant information. The humor and guide style was so impressive and welcome after some other tours I’ve taken.
