The tour will begin at the Uzeda Gate, a doorway offering a view of one of Italy's most beautiful living spaces, Catania's Cathedral Square. After a brief tour of the cathedral, we will explore the heart of the city: the fish market. Passing through the colorful and fragrant alleys, we’ll arrive at Castello Ursino before returning to the main square via Via Vittorio Emanuele.
The tour will continue along the historic Via Etnea, where travelers will hear historical accounts of Catania over the past four centuries. We will visit University Square and Piazza Stesicoro, home to the famous Roman amphitheater, before heading to another vibrant hub of Catania, the Fera o'Luni market.
Leaving the bustling noise of the stalls behind, we’ll stroll down Via Santa Filomena, the center of Catania’s nightlife, and arrive at Villa Bellini for a short break to try the famous arancino. On the way back, we’ll walk along Via Crociferi, the street of a thousand churches.
Finally, after descending Via San Giuliano, we’ll arrive at the renowned Teatro Massimo Square, where the tour concludes. Visitors will also have the option to visit the Vincenzo Bellini Theater for an additional fee.
