Things to do Tour Along the Medieval City Walls of Amsterdam

Our tour will cover topics such as the origin of Amsterdam, the medieval city walls - with the defensive towers, Dutch expeditions, the Golden Age, the East India Company, and the West India Company. I will tell you about Rembrandt and his most important works, the social system in Amsterdam in the XVII century, religion then and now, and a few other interesting things. Mind you, the walk is slightly off the beaten path (still in the center, however).

“Amazing”

This was one of the most amazing tours I have done so far and I do one in every city I go to. There was overall NOT one dull moment. It was very informative but not overwhelming. The information was told in a very nice way and everybody felt comfortable to ask questions. It was for me the first time to be in such a small group (6 people) but it was really nice because I got the chance to talk to everybody and also learn something from them. Also the time and the length of the tour was perfect because you don’t feel exhausted or drenched by a flood of information afterwards. Also as a German I only write a recommendation if I tuely mean it . So here you go! Take the tour and leave a fair tip at the end!
