Discover Amsterdam as an open-air work of art. From Museumplein to NDSM, connect with the legacy of Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Banksy as you explore the nooks and crannies that inspired their creations. A tour full of history and art!
have you ever wanted to walk around Amsterdam with Van Gogh and Banksy guiding you? In this Free Tour we get you inside the art.
From the first minute you will have in your hands the most representative works, such as Rembrandt's self-portraits, Van Gogh's Sunflowers or Kobra's mural of Anne Frank. It's not just a walk, it's an open-air museum.
We start in the art district to meet the man behind the genius, Rembrandt. Master of light and self-portraiture, the city that elevated him also forgot him. It is in this environment that Van Gogh emerges: an inner strength that still moves.
In Museumplein four museums converse between centuries: Rijks, Van Gogh, Stedelijk and Moco. In front of Van Gogh, art as an emotional refuge and mental health as part of the creative process. In the Stedelijk, the irreverent avant-garde, and in the Moco, street art as a critical and poetic voice.
We cross by free ferry to NDSM, we will talk about the city as a canvas and art as a voice that does not ask permission.
Through the eyes of Rembrandt and Van Gogh you will see that Amsterdam is not a set, it is a collective self-portrait.
