Things to do Free ScreenTour: Amsterdam Historic

Welcome to ScreenTours Join us in our Free Tour walking through the Anne Frank House and the famous Jewish neighborhood of Jordaan, where we will tell you what the Nazi Occupation and the Holocaust were like within the city. Learn about Dutch culture and history. We will explain you the secrets of its Dancing Houses, the construction of the Canal Ring, and the importance of the Tulip throughout the country. At the heart of the 9 Streets, we will head to Dam Square and its bustling surroundings, host of the Royal Palace and the National Monument. Here, you will learn how the first hours were lived after the Nazi Liberation and the foundations of the Dutch Monarchy during the Dutch Golden Age. Next, we will visit the Begijnhof, home of the first independent nurses from the Catholic Church during the 13th century. Inside we will visit one of the famous hidden churches in Amsterdam. The end of our FreeTour at the Flower Market, in the City center, and close to the famous Rembrandt Square, is a great finish to start your next steps around this cosmopolitan city.
