When you visit the Netherlands, you expect to see mills, bicycles, canals, cheese, and clogs. With this tour, you will see it all! If this is your first time in this country, this visit will help you get a complete introduction to Amsterdam.
Things to do Amsterdam: the Glory of Holland
This is the perfect occasion to visit the Netherlands, a country nearby and yet so different. On our way to Amsterdam we pass by the countryside and windmills.
Entering the city you see Netherland’s National Bank, the well-known Heineken brewery as well as the RAI Amsterdam co nvention and exhibition centre. The first part of our coach tour includes the National Painting Gallery, with the great Dutch masters as Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh. The Hardrock café at the famous Leidseplein Square and the city’s large Vondelpark are must sees. At Saint-Nicolas church we take you on a 20 min’ walk past the neogothic Central Station to the royal palace on Dam Square. Here you have ample free time to enjoy a boat tour or a walk along the so called ‘coffee’ shops and the Red-light district, etc.
Leaving the city our coach takes you past the picturesque houseboats and the replica ship of the East Indian company. You will see the Jewish Museum and monument as well as the famous Artis Zoo. Nemo, the iconic Science Museum designed by the world-famous architect Renzo Piano, will simply leave you stunned
After the visit, we will return to Brussels, where we will arrive around 9:00 p.m.
