Your journey begins with an early morning pickup between 5:00 and 6:00 AM from Malang or Surabaya. Head straight to the spectacular Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, known for its curtain-like cascade and dramatic jungle setting. Trek down to the canyon floor, cross rivers, and enjoy close-up views of one of Indonesia’s most iconic waterfalls. After the adventure, continue the drive to the Bromo area and check into your accommodation for a good night’s rest. Wake up early for a jeep adventure across the Sea of Sand. From a high viewpoint, such as King Kong Hill or Penanjakan, witness the legendary sunrise over Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru. Then, hike to the Bromo crater rim for a closer look at the active volcano. After the climb, enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant and proceed to the Ijen area for an overnight stay. Around midnight, begin your hike to Ijen Crater. Witness the blue fire phenomenon, a rare natural wonder visible in only a few places on Earth.
