Things to do Mount Bromo and Ijen Volcano Sunrise Experience

Start with an early morning adventure to Mount Bromo, where you'll ride a 4WD jeep across the Sea of Sand and watch the sunrise from a stunning viewpoint. Then, hike up to the crater rim for a closer look at this active volcano. After the hike, enjoy a hearty breakfast at a local restaurant. Later, continue the journey toward Ijen, with a stop for a local lunch on the way to your hotel. After some rest, begin a midnight hike to Ijen Crater, where you’ll see the rare blue fire glowing in the dark. As the sun rises, take in the incredible view of the turquoise acid lake surrounded by volcanic cliffs. Drop-off is available at your choice of Ketapang Harbor (Banyuwangi), Surabaya, or Malang.
