Join a tour of the Medina of Sousse and experience the city like a local. Discover its oriental charm and explore its most secret corners while strolling through its streets full of history, a unique experience awaits you!
There is no better way to soak up the charm of the ancient oriental-style city and discover its most hidden attractions than a leisurely stroll through its winding streets. In addition to its ancient and famous monuments such as the Great Mosque or the Ribat, the city has several hidden corners and buildings unknown even to the locals and whose originality may surprise you.
We will start with the Ribat, this fortress dating from the ninth century AD, a few years before the Great Mosque was built, which also began as a fortress before becoming a mosque in the middle of the same century (entrance fees not included). After the visit, we will begin our walk through the interior of the historic center passing by other minor religious buildings. We will reach the highest part of the city, which is still occupied today by the Kasbah (Alcazaba), a fortified palace and former seat and official residence of the governors of Sousse for centuries.
Today, the fortress houses the second archaeological museum of the country with a rich collection of Roman mosaics. Continue to the souks.

“Fully recommended!”
We had one hour and half Medina tour with Nadil. He was very well prepared about the history of Sousse and small funfacts. He showed us around and answered all our questions. It was everything beautiful and after the tour we were very thankful and could enjoy the city even better.
Extremely good!

Even with no other participants than us (2), Nabil accepted to do the tour. He was very knowledgeable and made every detail interesting. I strongly recommend him.
