Things to do Half Day Group Tour from Skopje to Matka Canyon and Millennium Cross

Join a half-day journey that will completely transfer you from the bustling city life into the beautiful nature surrounding Skopje. Your guide will take you up to the top of Mount Vodno by a cable-car system to explore the renowned Millennium Cross and enjoy the amazing panoramic view over the city. From there tour heads toward a nearby village called Gorno Nerezi to see and explore St. Pantelejmon church and its beautiful inside Byzantine art and architecture. Last but not least is the Matka canyon, which is one of the most popular outdoors destinations surrounding Skopje due to its truly authentic nature and its wildlife of plants, various animals and butterflies. The tour starts by the parking lot of the Kale fortress where your guide takes you by organized transport towards the middle of mount Vodno, and then up by a cable-car system to the top and back down. From there the tour keeps going by a transport.
