My name is Aleksandra. I am an art historian and archaeologist, and I am very passionate about the history and culture of my hometown, Skopje. On my tour, you will find plenty of information spanning from the oldest traces of life in Skopje to the present day, filled with fascinating details about archaeology, old architecture, and history, all wrapped in very interesting stories. We'll start in front of the Old Railway Station (Museum of the City of Skopje), and we'll visit: Street Macedonia The Memorial House of Mother Teresa Skopje’s Palaces Square Macedonia Stone Bridge Church of the Holy Great Martyr Dimitrij Daut Pasha Hamam Old Bazaar Kapan-an/Suli-an Group of buildings – Islamic trio Mustafa Pasha Mosque Church of Holy Salvation Come join me on a fun Free Walking Tour of Skopje! We had a great time on Alexandra's tour. It was full of eye opening details of Skopje's past and present, we left feeling connected to the city, and had many interesting conversations along the way. The energy was lovely, and Aleksandra also helped us find all kinds of nice spots in not only Skopje but also Ohrid, where we traveled to the next day.

“Above and beyond”
We had a great tour with Aleksandra, she was so knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions! The tour was very interesting and took us to so many great places in the city where we learnt about the history, the food and got lots of recommendations for places we could spend the next few days here! She also gave us some advice about Matka Canyon as well. At one point on the tour, I wasn’t feeling very well and she made sure I could sit down and even got me some sparkling water so that I could start to feel better and offered to take me to a pharmacy too! Such a great tour with so much knowledgeable insight and we had a great time! Thank you so much!

Aleksandra was really kind and helpful from the start, able to advise us on public transport into Skopje and help us with a question regarding visitor registration.
The tour was comprehensive, well organised and very interesting. Aleksandra has a wealth of knowledge of many subjects and aspects of the city. She speaks fluent English, and is eager to answer any questions you have along the way.
We walked around several of the main sights in Skopje at an easy pace, and learned a great deal about the history of the city and the North Macedonian people and nation.
It was one of the most enjoyable city walking tours we've had. Credit to Aleksandra for being such a good guide.

“Great overview of Skopje interesting and practical ”
Aleksandra was an excellent tour host. She explained the local history and politics and gave us a good understanding of Macedonian culture and heritage. We saw the all the main sights and she shared with us some hidden spots we wojls not find on our own. Her knowledge and art, architecture and history really brought the tour to life.
