Things to do Santorini Volcano Tour

The tour starts from the picturesque old port of Fira. The Old Port lies below Fira. You'll be surprised by the steep slopes and in the end, the tiny port will appear under these huge rocks and the cave houses that seem to dangle on the cliff. The guides of your excursion will be waiting, give you all the important information and orientate you on the boat. Our first destination will be the famous volcano of Santorini! After 20 minutes, we will reach Nea Kameni. If you're interested to be guided by the volcano, you'll walk to the volcano’s ridge with your guide and you will listen to everything about the history and the geology of the volcano. You'll stay on the volcanic island for 1,5 hours. Next, we reach by boat the island of Palea Kameni with the hot springs, and the famous mud baths, which were formed as a result of volcanic eruptions. In the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, the waters are mixed with mud that they are full of sulfur, iron, and other metals coming from the volcano, and they are very good for the skin, rheumatism, arthritis, and other physical pains. The boat will be staying here for about 30 minutes. After the bath, you will return to the old port of Fira.
