Very good information and knowledgeable guide. Too much time spent standing still in the cold with lengthy stories that could have been condensed. Other walks we have been on in winter include a stop over somewhere warm 1/2 way along.

“Monotone and uninspiring guide”
The guide was very monotone and seemed to just recite a script he had learned by heart, including jokes. Also, he mostly stated facts that can be found in a history book, not the typical stories that are more interesting on such a tour. We left after around half an hour.

very enjoyable tour. Chris offered a thoughtful and interesting view of Czech history and the relevance of Prague. Very dry sense of humour and he offered some interesting perspective on czech history, with excellent detail on the astronomical clock. Was a little disappointed in the limited overview and time spent in the Jewish quarter but a very worthwhile few hours.

Very straightforward and clear explanations. All in all, a very good and varied tour, though very light on Jewish traces and Jewish history in Prague. Maybe there is a tour that focuses more on that subject….

This was our second free tour, the guide was very good but there was a lot of content that was not really relevant, it was a very cold day and there was a lot of standing around talking about items in a shop window the was not really what the tour was about. We wanted to hear more about the history of the old town and Jewish qarter. We would have preferred the tour be only 1.5 hours with just relevant content.

Chris was very interesting and informative about a lot of Prague's history and explaining the workings of the Astronomical Clock which is amazing considering it is over 600 years old. He also helped us in providing details of local cuisine, recommendations on restaurants and places to get a drink as well as money exchange centers with fairer prices. A lot was packed in over 2.5 hours. Highly recommend.

“A very unique and engaging tour”
Eva was amazing! We had a large group that ended up being split into two smaller groups, and even with about 30 people in our final group she made sure everyone was involved and engaged. She gave us so much history into the city, and by remembering every country each person was from, managed to relate the city’s history to people’s homes, eg asking each of our country’s national sport when explaining the significance of the Czech ice hockey team. If you can get a tour with Eva I would highly recommend!

“Tereza was an excellent guide for an excellent tour!”
This tour was a great introduction to Prague for us, as we'd never been here before and we're woefully ignorant. Tereza provided a really thorough yet succinct history lesson that helped us understand so much about the development of "the" Czech personality and culture (her words, not ours!) We appreciated that she was forthcoming about her own politics and shared a lot of examples and anecdotes from her own family. She was friendly and funny, yet showed empathy when it came to harder questions about experiences like the Holocaust and the destruction of the Jewish community. We would happily do another Freetour in Prague, especially if Tereza is the guide!

Great guidance through Prague City Centre. We stopped at main points where we received compact information. Brandon always asked for questions at each stop, described historical objects with bit of "feelings" and sense of humor - bringing compassion, fun, melancholy stories into facts. It was a very interesting guidance, great experience, time passed so quickly.
Brandon also gave us hints about nightlife, where to eat and what to be aware of, also simple communication phrases in Czech.
