Fantastic day trip to Kutna Hora town just one hour from Prague. Uncover its legends and be amused by a chilling chapel decorated with nothing but human remains.
What you will do
Starting in Prague’s Old Town square, the tour starts with a train ride (ca. 1 hour) from Prague’s Hlavni Nádraží train station, through lovely Bohemian countryside, to Kutna Hora.
Then we visit the eerie Sedlec Ossuary. Below the 15th century Cemetery Church of All Saints at the center lies the curiously fascinating Bone Chapel.
After a lunch break at an excellent and very modestly priced (main course around 5 EUR) Czech restaurant you will take a tour through Kutna Hora’s UNESCO World Heritage Old Town,
What to expect
Stare in awe as our guide shows you a chandelier comprising of at least one of every bone in the human body, pyramids of skulls and delicately crafted shields of arms made of…yes, you guessed it, arms!
Kutna Hora however is much more than the Bone Chapel! Thanks to the town’s prosperous silver mines, Kutna Hora became the second most decadent city in the Bohemian kingdom in the middle ages and flourished, rivaling Prague economically, culturally and politically.
Eventually, the silver dried up and the town was ravaged by two Holy Wars, but what was left behind still wows tourists to this day.

“Great trip”
Petra was great and very personable. Food was good at the restaurant and very inexpensive! Get the dark beer. Account for about 6-7 hours for the trip but with an hour relaxed train ride to and from the town each way.

“10/10 for the tour and Czech David the tour guide ”
This was a great day out. The tour guide "Czech David" was really nice and liked to have a laugh. David had loads of information to share, the sights were great and it was nice to get a sense of what the Czech Republic is like outside of Prague. It was also lovely to meet some of the other people on the trip. All in all a great day out.

“Exceptional tour would recommend”
David was fabulous and the tour which is.p a full day was wonderful.
It's great to also get out of Prague and understand more of Czech Republic and the importance of Kutna Hora
The web site though is very bad without correct information. I paid a deposit on visa but when I got to the office I had to run to the ATM to pay the balance in cash.
Also the confusion is with the start point as this company does other coloured umbrella tours so I was looking for blue but they are really yellow..another run across the square.

“Kutna Hora Tour”
Guide was informative. I was the eldest on the tour and the pace was a little fast for me as I stop to take tons of photos. I'd go again.
