Join this adventure and discover Kutná Hora, the jewel of Bohemia. Walk through its streets full of history, learn about its mining past and be amazed by its silver legacy that enriched the Czech Crown. A journey to the medieval heart of the Czech Republic.
Departing from the center of Prague at the appointed time we will head northwest of the city to reach the old mining town of Kutna Hora.
Once in the city, we will walk through its pleasant historical center and visit the Gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara and the Corpus Christi Chapel. Then, we will drive to the Royal Castle, also known as the Italian Courtyard, and discover the Vlašský dvůr, the place where the groshe coin and ducats were printed.
The highlight of the excursion comes with a visit to the Sedlec Ossuary, a small Catholic chapel containing about 40,000 human skeletons arranged as if they were peculiar decorative elements.
After visiting some other monuments belonging to the UNESCO heritage, you will have half an hour of free time to stroll around before returning to Prague.
After 6 hours of activity, we will conclude the tour by returning to the meeting point.
