Things to do Mountain Gorillas Trekking in Rwanda

The driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali by 4:00 am to start your drive to Volcanoes National Park. It will take around two hours to arrive at the Volcanoes National Park headquarters. Upon arrival at the park reception, you will be briefed about the park and rules & regulations for gorilla trekking after you start the trip. The time varies between 2hrs to 7hrs for tricking exercise. Group of tourists is limited to only 8 visitors per gorilla family to minimize disturbance to the gorillas, and to pay exclusive is allowed. The tourist has one hour to interact with them, take photos, and share information about them; this time, you stay with gorillas. It will offer you an opportunity to learn more about them and give you a memorable experience about mountain gorillas. Each group visited once per day. After tracking, return for lunch and relaxation, then drive to Kigali.
