Mount Rugarika Hike

Upon reaching the top hill of Rugarika hill you will be welcomed by students during their break-time, have a short interaction with the kids. Thereafter, you will walk downhill through villages and see the local Rwandese how they go about their daily lives. ​ You will be met by our Guide at your hotel, thereafter drive towards mount Rugarika. The hike will start at an altitude of 2300 meters above sea level, then we will start the hiking through local villages, en route you will have the chance of interacting with the locals and also experience the traditional lifestyle of Rwandans. You will get to the top hill at around midday, have your packed lunch while enjoying the beautiful views of the volcanoes, later ascend the mountain then drive toward Musanze, arriving late afternoon.
