On this tour we will visit important green jewels of the Belen comuna in Medellin. Belen Park, Malibu Park, Bolivarian Avenue, Quebrada la Picacha. We will know more than 12 trees with heritage value such as the Bala de Cañon (Couropita guianensis), tronador or Ceiba bruja (Hura crepitans), zancona palm (Syagrus sancona) among others.
Trees unlike other living organisms and even man, take their time without hurry, they drink life in short sips, they savor it solemnly and slowly.
Trees are out of our time, out of our rhythms. That is why trees have innumerable cultural values in the ancient cultures of the world.
The time of the trees is different from the time of humans, so it is of great importance to conserve trees that, due to their unique characteristics, are living references of the natural and cultural richness of the landscape in Medellín.
