Things to do Hike to Tzununá Waterfall

Our day begins at 8 am, meeting at Tzununa's boat docks, and we'll proceed to the town center. There, you'll receive a concise history of the town and its residents. Moving away from the center, we venture into the jungle, where time seems to rewind; farmers tend to crops, women handcraft tortillas and weave the famed "güipil" Mayan dresses. Traversing a charming coffee forest nestled in the jungle, my favorite part, the urban clamor fades. Nature's sounds take over birds, chickens, and goats, offering a glimpse into the serene "campesino" lifestyle. As we approach a waterfall, the town's noise dissipates, and we'll relish traditional Mayan tamales, the waterfall, and scenic Tzununá views. Bring a bathing suit and towels for a dip, and for the adventurous, there's rock climbing to a 6-ft plunge pool. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses for added comfort.
