It stands at an elevation of 5,925 meters (19,439 feet) above sea level. Ascending Ramdung Peak is a challenging endeavor that rewards climbers with a profound sense of accomplishment and breathtaking views. The climb typically begins with a trek through picturesque alpine forests and traditional Sherpa villages, gradually ascending to higher altitudes where the terrain becomes more rugged and glaciated.


The ascent itself requires technical proficiency in mountaineering, including skills in ice and snow climbing, as well as familiarity with using crampons, ropes, and ice axes. While not as technically demanding as some of Nepal's higher peaks, Ramdung still presents obstacles such as crevasses and steep slopes that require careful navigation and teamwork.
