The peak of Ganesh Himal resembles the head of Lord Ganesh which is the head of an elephant. Ganesh Himal is located in north-central Nepal between Langtang National Park and Manaslu Conservation Area. This trek also offers a spectacular view of Langtang Valley Trekking and Manaslu Circuit Trekking.


It is located in Dhading, Gorkha, Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts. The Ganesh Himal area has a significant population of Tamang, Gurung and Ghale. Ganesh Himal is located at 7,422 m (24,350 ft). It is home to 4 other peaks over 7000 m and 14 other peaks over 6000 m. On the way to Ganesh Himal, you will get to witness some stunning views of terraced hills, a huge forest, and the Tamang culture. You will also witness diverse vegetation ranging from subtropical to alpine.
