It is located in Dhading, Gorkha, Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts. The Ganesh Himal area has a significant population of Tamang, Gurung and Ghale. Ganesh Himal is located at 7,422 m (24,350 ft). It is home to 4 other peaks over 7000 m and 14 other peaks over 6000 m.
