Die Tour hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht.
Hakan ist sehr offen und Gesprächsbereit.
Er hat uns coole Tips gegeben und unseren Eindruck auf die Stadt nochmal stark geprägt.
Coole Spots z.B. eine local Shishabar oder Kaffes.
Er ist auch bereit über die Politische Lage zu sprechen und die Sichtweise eines Einheimischen zu erklären.
Zusammenfassend hat es uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht und ist nur weiterzuempfehlen!!

“Perfect intro to Istanbul”
Our guide was Hakan and we had an awesome tour. It was well suited to our family including mom, dad and kids age 8 and 12, just enough walking and short stops, plus a little snack break, and Hakan knew where the free bathrooms were when the kids had to go. He handled our group's super random questions with ease, did a fantastic job of telling stories and introducing us to Turkish history and culture, and showed us hidden things like a cool coffee shop and a book market that we never would have found on our own. Didn't go into any of the mosques, cisterns, etc. during the tour, but showed us where they are and tips for visiting them as we have time later. Definitely take this tour when you first arrive in Istanbul to get a great orientation to the old town and more. Thank you Hakan!

We did a three-hour small group tour of the old town with Hakan and it was amazing. We visited the well-known sights such as Hagia Sofia and the Grand Bazaar as well as hidden places where the locals hang out. He managed to pass on his enthusiasm for the city to us. Through the information he gave us, we were able to gain an insight into the culture. He was very open and helpful and had an answer to every question. Through Hakan's friendly and amusing manner it never got boring. I can only recommend it to everyone.

The tour was very good. Our guide, Emre, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us the biggest sights of the old town and some lesser known sites while talking about its history. Emre also gave us a lot of tips concerning restaurants, activities, etc. This tour is the perfect way to start your holiday here in Istanbul.

“Wonderful tour for 1st day in Istanbul”
Emre is such a wonderful guide. So friendly and warm. We were so thrilled that he could also speak Mandarin Chinese. The first half of the tour introduced the old town and the main tourist sites, the second half was a little more off the beaten track and was useful. The time seemed to fly by and didn’t feel like we’d walked nearly 3 hours! Emre gave us some great tips and advice on getting into tourist sites and what to do and what to avoid in Istanbul. Communication was also very smooth, Emre sent us WhatsApp messages ahead of the meet up which was very helpful. Well worth attending this tour if it’s your first time in Istanbul!

“The perfect level of detail for first-timer!”
Was so pleased to have our guide take us through historic timeline of Istanbul while physically walking through these sights. With such a wealth of knowledge, our guide took us from historic to modern in just 3hrs. I felt like we never were with the crowds. Learned a lot of things I then took to explore on my own. Fantastic for solo travelers!
