“Wonderful tour for 1st day in Istanbul”
Emre is such a wonderful guide. So friendly and warm. We were so thrilled that he could also speak Mandarin Chinese. The first half of the tour introduced the old town and the main tourist sites, the second half was a little more off the beaten track and was useful. The time seemed to fly by and didn’t feel like we’d walked nearly 3 hours! Emre gave us some great tips and advice on getting into tourist sites and what to do and what to avoid in Istanbul. Communication was also very smooth, Emre sent us WhatsApp messages ahead of the meet up which was very helpful. Well worth attending this tour if it’s your first time in Istanbul!

This Tour was the best we ever had. Hakan knew so much about his city and gave us a great overviews of what is characteristic for Istanbul. Each stop he told us gripping anecdotes and presented pictures to further nurture our imagination. He connected the spots so naturally that 3 hours flew by and we were a little sad to leave him.

I have done many tours and this has been one of my favourite by far. Hakan was an amazing guide that truly made the experience unforgettable with how much passion and knowledge he puts intk the tour.
Istambul is also an amazing destination full of history and the tour covers many key points of the history of the former Constantinople.
This tour was also very useful and would recommend doing first thing when getting to Istambul as it covers many different topics and eras briefly.

“A walk worth doing”
This was a lovely walk which included so much information and history. We visited some of the more well known mosques and then some of the lesser and even unknown places that we would never have found or seen on our own. We had a great tour today, Hakan gave us a beautifull inside of history with good and spicy background details. I feel really stupid I didn’t had this tour years ago when I visit Istanbul for the first time. A must do!

Hakan is a professional tourguide who showed us the most common but also lesser known sides and places of Istanbul. Since he is a local and grew up in this city he filled his tour with lots of personal information about the turkish life in general.
I definetiy recommend you this tour. Is a fun combination of historical facts and everyday life.

“Informative and humourous ”
We really enjoyed Emir's tour. He was very informative and funny at the same time. He told the history of the various locations that we visited but made them interesting by adding humour. Even though we had a lot of facts it didn't feel like a history lesson. We were 8 in the group and he accommodated all of us well and gave us opportunity to ask questions and also offered us advice.
The pace was good and we were able to hear him with all the background noises. Highly recommend. Thank you for representing Istanbul well. Yonas and Tia
