Our recent boat trip in Istanbul had both highlights and drawbacks.
The good:
The views were absolutely stunning—sailing along the Bosphorus with Istanbul’s skyline was unforgettable.
The onboard entertainment (show program) was lively and enjoyable.
The food was tasty and well-prepared, which we appreciated.
The bad:
The overcrowding was exhausting. There were too many people, making it hard to relax or move around comfortably.
The transfer service was poorly organized. It arrived late, and despite our hotel being just 15 minutes from the pier, we were dropped off last.
The staff repeatedly pressured us for tips, which felt pushy and unprofessional.
Overall, the trip had its moments, but the lack of organization and constant upselling for tips diminished the experience.
