Explore life in the Atlas Mountains on this fascinating day trip between Marrakech and the Imlil Valley. We´ll visit Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in Africa with a professional local guide.
Visit the gorgeous Eco-museum of Toubkal National Park located at the foot of the high mountains of the Atlas, between the village of Asni and the Imlil. Toubkal National Park is about one hour's drive from the city center of Marrakech. This museum, founded in 2012, gives you an insight into the geography of the region and Berber culture in a lively and interactive exhibition.
After this visit, our car will take us to Imlil, the main place for trekking in the Toubkal National Park. We will follow tracks through the walnut gardens and will pass the picturesque waterfall. Then we will get to the Armed, at the other bank of the river, on an altitude of about 1,900m. There you’ll find the stone buildings with terraces and balconies facing magical view to the south where we will enjoy our lunch. After lunch, we will head back to Imlil, and from Imlil we will return to the Marrakech by car.
