You will get an overview of Hue’s history and a culinary experience from a professional, enthusiastic guide. Our guide will meet you at a central location. We will try a lot of dishes, including: -Beef noodles ( Bún Bò Huế) -Steam rice water fern Cake ( Bánh Bèo Chén ) -Crispy dumplings ( Bánh Ram ít) -Flat Steamed Rice Dumplings ( Bánh Nậm) -Lemongrass pork ( Nem lụi) -Vietnamese savory steamed rice cake ( Bánh Lọc) -Crispy crepes ( Bánh khoái ) -Vietnamese sweet beverage ( Chè ) -Huda beer - To cap off the evening, we can stop either for a beer or Vietnamese coffee and pastry - We offer a customized menu depending on your food allergies or preferences. - If you have any food allergies, please let us know in advance. * The tour allows for a maximum of six individuals.

“Yummy ”

Tasty food, nice intercultural group, but the tourguide Bôn was very shy and did not tell us a lot about the dishes or the culture unless we asked him thrice. His answers were very short when we asked him anything and we had to ask him repeatedly to get the information we cared about even though he knew stuff. He could have told us a lot more and we wish he would have because the things he did tell us after questioning were very interesting! This kind of dampened the vibe for the first half of the tour until the group decided to entertain each other. Maybe the guide was just inexperienced. He was very kind though so we wish him the very best for the future and that he finds his inner entertainer!

“A taste of the life of a local”

The tour was fantastic! We were a group of 5 people so it was easy to make conversation and learn about the culture around the city and the unique dishes served in Hue. Our guide Bon kept vibes super fun and was very informative about what we were eating. He also made sure to consider any dietary requirements of all the guests. The places he took us to were all deep cuts that only a local would know, so if you want to have a unique experience in the city, get yourself on this tour.

“Could not finish the Che”

Nice long walk, in the rain, to various places that I would never would have found on my own. I had informed the guide that I do not eat pork, and one of the places we went to, only offered pork; so I had nothing. Till the next stop on the tour. The night ended with dessert (called Che) but I was unable to finish it; way too sweet for me. I do recommend the tour, and hope you (dear reader) have better weather. :-)

“Must do ”

Eine wirklich total tolle authentische food tour für Hue. Man kehrt bei Imbissbuden ein, keine Restaurants. Dort wo die Einheimischen essen. Probiert die Spezialitäten von Hue, welche man wahrscheinlich nie alleine probiert hätte. Dazu einen tollen, mega sympathischen Guide, der sehr kompetent ist. Ein absolutes must do.

“Yummy food and good company :)”

I had a delicious and fun evening on the ffod tour. You get the opportunity to try typical dishes from Hue. The guide explains exactly what it is and how to eat it. During the whole tour there was an open and fun atmosphere, you could ask questions and we had a great exchange about cultural topics. I would recommend the tour to anyone who is looking for typical delicious food in Hue!

“Interesting and funny”

Linh (the guide) is really nice and funny. He explained us several topics about Vietnam and he was open to any question. About the food, it was very good and interesting, because several dishes were cooked with the same ingredients but they were totally different.

“Amazing Experience ”

The tour was really amazing! Our guide Linh was friendly, explained a lot about the history of the city and the Vietnamese cuisine. The places we visited for food were absolutely fantastic, we tasted many different things in places that would never find on our own! But what made the tour really stand out was our amazing guide! Thank you Linh! A must have tour if you find yourself in Hue!

“Excellent tour with great guide ”

Really cool guide showed us some great authentic places all around the city of Hue. Lots of helpful and interesting information. Tons of food. Relaxed athmosphere. I really appreciate that he always found an appropriate alternative for me as a vegetarian. I would definitely recommend it 100%!

“Book as your first introduction to Hue!”

The food choices were varied and very good. The guide is phenomenal!! You will have a great time. He gives an amazing first hand experience of life in Hue. The best food tour I’ve done in Vietnam to date! Wish I could give 10 stars!

“Nice tour”

Linh was a great food guide, very open and great at conversation. We visited 6 or 7 good local spots. If you eat The tour was longer than expected, keep in mind there is a lot of walking! Overall a great way to learn about the city through food.
